The Eucalyptus Gunnii Cider Gum is a magnificent evergreen tree, with it's silvery-blue foliage and decorative flaking bark, this very fast growing tree is a firm favourite with many gardeners.

The Eucalyptus Gunnii is a very fast growing evergreen tree that can grow up to 25m tall. The main characteristics of this tree are its peeling cream and brown bark and the round, bright glaucous-blue leaves when young, turning grey-green with age.

This variety of Eucalyptus is probably the most well-known gum in this country and borderline hardy, needing some protection (especially when young) during abnormally cold winters. The cider gum also flowers from July to October producing clusters of small white flowers (although these are not often seen in Britain).
