rhododendron barselik (azalea group)

Flowering from May to early June and embellished with large, funnel-shaped, orange-red flowers, this medium-sized deciduous azalea can bring interest into any garden, with golden foliage through autumn. Barselik is a low maintenance shrub, perfect for woodland gardens or an acid border. Height and spread: 110cm (43").

A deciduous cultivar from the Azalea group, Rhododendron 'Barselik' forms a spreading, medium sized shrub. It is decorated with showy, funnel-shaped, orange-red blooms in May. The foliage is light green throughout summer, turning to bright gold in autumn.
